Spitex Zurich relies on Rent a Bike

Willisau, October 24, 2025 - Rent a Bike AG has won Spitex Zurich's public tender. Among several bids received, Rent a Bike was awarded the contract for the ongoing renewal of the e-bike fleet over the next four years. Under the contract, Spitex Zurich is aiming to procure around 80 e-bikes per year.

The requirements for the vehicles are high: high-quality e-bikes are needed that can reliably cover the intensive and daily use in a Spitex organization. Comprehensive services and competitive spare parts conditions are just as important for the continuous operation of the fleet.

The e-bikes for Spitex Zurich are fully assembled in Kreuzlingen.

The established collaboration between Tour de Suisse-Manufaktur and Rent a Bike in the field of professional e-bike fleets combines the best of both worlds, creating real added value for Spitex Zurich. The geographical proximity of this Swiss solution also ensures short distances, high flexibility and a deep understanding of local requirements. Thanks to this holistic approach, Rent a Bike was successful in the competitive process.
