Rent a Bike SA is an owner-managed company. It is Switzerland's largest bicycle and electric bike rental company for day and multi-day excursions. It is present in all tourist destinations. Customers appreciate the wide choice of over 4,500 rental vehicles at 120 locations. The range is rounded out by long-term and seasonal rentals, as well as an attractive assortment of new and used vehicles for sale.
In the business customer segment, Rent a Bike offers full-service rentals for tour operators, hotels and companies. Fleet management covers the entire product lifecycle, from logistics and maintenance to the sale of used vehicles, so that customers always have access to the latest technology.
Rent a Bike is also committed to sustainable cycle tourism in the region. In addition to Tour de Suisse Rad AG, Rent a Bike cooperates with Swiss Railways SBB and BLS, as well as with other tourism and trade partners specializing in cycling and sport.
About Tour de Suisse Rad AG
Since 1934, Tour de Suisse Rad AG has been manufacturing bicycles in Switzerland, close to the people who use them. In its local factory, Tour de Suisse builds all simple and electric bicycles according to customers' wishes, and offers a wide range of models and equipment. Customized bikes in the color requested by customers are produced with the company's signature paint. Since its inception, the manufacture of simple and electric bicycles has been owner-managed and based on the Swiss production site. The 75 or so employees, all based in Kreuzlingen, combine traditional craftsmanship with innovative technology.
The combination of Tour de Suisse's manufacturing expertise and Rent a Bike AG's product range has given rise to new offers in the field of shared mobility, combining the best of both worlds. Tour de Suisse Rad AG offers a wide range of complementary bike accessories, and acts as general importer for a number of top-quality brands such as Stevens Bikes, QiO Bikes, Croozer and Thule.
Since 2021, Tour de Suisse has been manufacturing bicycles and e-bikes in its factory in an almost CO2-neutral way. To achieve this, it relies on its 157 kwp photovoltaic system, 100% natural electricity and 100% biogas as a heat source.

The AMAG Group aims to reduce 90% of its emissions (Sope1, Scope 2, Scope 3) by 2040. It is committed to meeting the 1.5-degree target of the Paris Climate Agreement and the Science Based Targets. In addition, from 2025 onwards, it will invest in climate protection projects and eliminate part of its emissions using "Direct Air Capturing" technology from Climeworks. From 2040, the AMAG Group will eliminate all remaining emissions.
