The support services of the Cerebral Foundation include offers for the promotion of mobility, relief in everyday life, financial support for the adaptation of the home to the needs of the disabled and the distribution of care and hygiene articles. It is involved in the research and development of new aids and therapies and supports institutions that offer residential homes and workplaces to people with cerebral movement disabilities. In addition, it carries out important educational and informational work to break down prejudices and make the population more aware of the concerns of people with disabilities.

An important service that is actively used and very much appreciated is the telephone counselling service. Here, registered persons and their families receive free and low-threshold expert advice in the areas of care and support, school, therapy, aids, maintenance and promotion of independence and mobility.

Leisure time fun without restrictions

People with disabilities should not experience any restrictions in their leisure time and should be able to go on carefree excursions together with their families. That is why the Cerebral Foundation repeatedly initiates projects to ensure that they can do just that. Holidays in barrier-free bungalows at various Swiss campsites, mountain tours with all-terrain wheelchairs or kayak trips on converted special kayaks - the list of offers is long and the Cerebral Foundation is doing everything it can to make it much longer in the future.

The Cerebral Foundation's national bicycle rental service has been around for many years, and the rental network now includes 19 stations throughout Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The various special bikes available can be adapted to the respective needs in just a few steps and thus promise unlimited riding pleasure and fun excursions for the whole family. 

The Cerebral Foundation is financed exclusively by donations and legacies and is certified by ZEWO. It guarantees careful and transparent handling of the donations entrusted to it.

It works with the smallest possible administrative expenditure and thus ensures that the donations are used exactly where they are really needed.
